Add new fraud prevention configuration

Steps to set up TikTok Fraud Prevention

Here is a checklist to prepare before starting the Tiktok Fraud Prevention configuration process on OnHub.

  1. Register an OnHub Account

  • Ensure you have registered and verified your OnHub account.

  1. TikTok Business Account

  • Ensure you have access to your TikTok Business Account credentials (email and password).

  • If you haven't already, Sign up for a TikTok Business Account.

  1. Tiktok Business Center

  • Ensure you have access to your TikTok Business Center.

  • If not already established, Create a Business Center on TikTok

  1. Website

  • Ensure you have admin rights to the website and can insert code into your website.

Once you have prepared all the checklist items, you can access the "Add new fraud prevention configuration" function by:

  • Navigate to the Configuration List screen

  • Click on "Fraud prevention configuration" button.

-> Then proceed with the Tiktok Fraud Prevention configuration process. (As below)

1. Website

1.1. Add your website (Step 1)

  • Click Connect button at Website block

  • Select your website's protocol

  • Enter your website address

-> After successfully entering your website address, click "Save and continue" you will be taken to step 2.


1.2. Select ad groups to block invalid clicks (Step 2)

  • Click "Connect" to connect with your TikTok Business Acount

  • Enter the email and password of your TikTok Business Account to connect successfully

  • Grant OnHub the required permissions for TikTok access then Click "Confirm"

NOTE:

Please grant all the permissions listed on the screen to ensure our platform can successfully connect with your Business Account

-> Once you have successfully granted the necessary permissions, you will be redirected back to OnHub to proceed with step 2 of the process.

  • Select the ad groups you want to prevent fraud for

-> Click "Save and continue" you will be taken to step 3.


1.3. Configure settings (Step 3)

  • Click 'enable' for the configuration you want to use. Currently, Onhub includes two configurations: blocking by click frequency and blocking by country.

    • Click frequency: There are three options Block by IP address (blocking individual IP addresses including IPv4 and IPv6), Block by IP group xxx.xxx.xxx.* (blocking by IPv4 group in the format xxx.xxx.xxx.), and Block by IP group xxx.xxx..* (blocking by IPv4 group in the format xxx.xxx..). For each option, you need to fill in 'The number of times an IP clicks on an advertisement' and 'Within a period of' to define fake clicks. For example, IP addresses with 10 clicks within 30 minutes are considered fake. The Onhub system will use these rules to block violating clicks.

    • Country: Block clicks from the countries you select. This configuration helps you eliminate clicks from countries with high fake click rates or target countries where you do not want your ads to be displayed.

-> After successfully entering your website address, click "Save and continue" you will be taken to step 2.


1.4. Get embed code (Step 4)

  • Click on the "Copy" icon to get the code provided by Onhub. Then, insert this code into the section of your website so Onhub can start blocking fake clicks to your website.

  • After inserting the code, go back to fraud prevention configuration step 4, and click the "Check" button to verify that the code has been successfully inserted.

    • A. Code successfully inserted -> the system displays the message "Embed code successfully".

    • B. Code insertion failed -> The system displays the message "Embedding the code failed. Please try again!"

-> Then, click "Done" to complete the fraud prevention configuration steps.

NOTE:

The TikTok fraud prevention feature starts working when:

  • You have successfully inserted the Onhub code into your website.

  • The customer support department has activated the feature to block fake clicks for your account.


2. Shopify Store

Click Connect Button on Shopify block

You will be directed to link app OnHub Tiktok Fraud Prevention on Shopify App Store. Please install app and you can start setting up and managing all TFP packages directly on your Shopify Store Screen


3. Manage and track fraud prevention configuration requests.
