Here is a checklist to prepare before starting the Tiktok Fraud Prevention configuration process on OnHub.
TikTok Business Account
Ensure you have access to your TikTok Business Account credentials (email and password).
If you haven't already, Sign up for a TikTok Business Account.
Tiktok Business Center
Ensure you have access to your TikTok Business Center.
If not already established, Create a Business Center on TikTok
Tiktok Ad account
Ensure you have access to your Tiktok Ad account
If you haven't had any, you can create a new one with advanced features by our OnHub Agency Ad account
Tiktok pixel
Ensure you have admin permission to your Tiktok pixel
Shopify Store
Ensure you have admin rights to the store and can insert code into your store.
From Pixel management screen, click on "Add new pixel" button to set up more pixels with our app.
You can choose any others pixels created by ad accounts owned by Tiktok business account you have already connected to our app.
Take note that you can only choose to config each pixel by our app only one time. Pixel, which has label as "Used" (as has been set up by this OnHub account) or "Other used" (as has been set up by others OnHub accounts), can not be selected again. Therefore, you can only choose pixels with "Available" label - which shows that this pixel has not been set up on oup app before.
If any ad account owned by connected Tiktok business account has created or deleted pixel, please click on "Add new pixel" button to reconnect the Tiktok business account so our app will update the pixel informations.
Besides that, you can select multiple pixels created by multiple ad accounts owned by multiple Tiktok business accounts. By click on "Add new pixel" button, you can also connect to a new Tiktok business account and get all pixels from that account to config by our app.
For step 2, you will config for all pixels chosen in step 1. Here you can set up pixels for:
Area where you want to gather user behavior information in your Shopify store. You will have three options to choose:
Entire Store: the app will collect data whenever users come to visit your store.
Homepage: the app will collect data if only users come to your Home page on Shopify Store.
Collection: the app will collect data if only users come to the Collection page. With this option, you can choose to receive data from all collection pages or specific collection pages.
Take note that there will be some rules to choose target area:
If you choose Entire store, you can choose any others options
If you choose All collections, you can choose any others selections at Custom collection table and vice versa
If you choose Homepage, you can still choose either All collections or any selections at Custom collection table
Method collecting data where you can choose server-side tracking as well. It is a method of collecting and processing data directly on the server, rather than on users’ browsers or devices.
If you don’t activate Server-side feature, our app will still help you collect data of user’s behaviors from traditional way, which is on user’s browser cookies. However, it’ll be a high chance that you can not gather most of the data due to IOS update or ad blockers; while the server-side collecting data method will not be affected by these barriers.
After choose all options for pixel configuration, click on the "Next" button to move to the final step.
For the final steps, you will need to activate our app. You only have to do this step once. Then unless you have deactivate our app on the Theme store, you don't have to do this step again for all the following time you set up new pixels
Step 1: Click on the "Activate" button
Step 2: You will be directed to Theme Store. Here you need to activated our app and click "Save" button to finish activating
Step 3: Click "Check" button to make sure our app has been activated successfully. You will receive a successful message under the button if our app is activated properly.
Step 4: Click on "Save" button to finish configuration. At Pixel management screen, the recent pixel configuration's information will be updated at the dashboard.
In Step 3 of Add new pixel procedure, you will have an additional option to add code manually to the Custom events from Setting. If users add this code, pixels will collect post-checkout events' data from both Browser and Server-side method, if not, pixel will collect data from only Server-side method.
Please take note that it is optional, without adding this code, pixel is still running properly. This action requires users to do only once time for the first-time setting up pixel.
Here are details instruction to add embed code to Customer events:
Step 1: Click on "Copy" icon to copy the embed code.
Step 2: Click on "Setting" button in the left-corner of the screen.
Step 3: At Setting screen, click on "Customer events". From Customer events dashboard, click on "Add custom pixel" button.
Step 4: Name the pixel, then click on "Add pixel" button.
Step 5: Paste the embed code at Code section, then click on "Save" button.
Step 6: In the bottom of the screen, you will receive a message if the pixel is saved successfully. Click on "Connect" button to activate the embed code.
Step 7: Click on "Connect" button to finish setting up.
Step 8: If you receive "Pixel connected" message, you have successfully added our embed code.

You have successfully activated our app on Theme store.
